About Us

Our Guide company opened in May 2006 and meets on Tuesday evenings in Oakwood.  Over the last two years we have taken part in many outdoor activities such as outdoor cooking, tent pitching, pioneering, hikes and fire lighting as well as activities such as fashion shows, crafts and sports evenings.  During our meetings we work towards challenges and awards and practice a wide variety of Guide skills.

Want To Join?

We are always happy to welcome new members.  If you are aged between 10 and 14 years and would like to become a Guide, please use the contact us section of the website to get in touch.  We can also provide information about other local Guide companies  as well as local Brownie (7-10 years), Rainbow (5-7 years) and Senior Section (14-26 years) units.  Again use the contact us section and we'll do our best to help.

 Over 18?

We would be happy to welcome you as a leader or helper in the Guide company, or if Guides is not the right section for you, put you in toch with other local units.  If you are willing to get involved and support local Guiding, please use the contact us section to get in touch.
